HIMSS’s annual conference is the largest event in the healthcare technology calendar — a major opportunity for vendors to get in front of consumers through physical events and marketing campaigns. In preparation for this event, HIMSS produces an extremely high volume of marketing collateral for conference vendors in an extremely short period of time.

The Opportunity
With such high volumes of content to produce within such a short window, the HIMSS team was overextended. To improve the quality of the output, the project needed better workflow and a specifically designed team.

Creative Insight
By tapping into our LHC network of creative talent, we were able to scale the team of writers and designers to meet the heavy demand. We optimized team organization by implementing a project manager to execute a work schedule and delegate workflow.

Our execution hinged on efficiency. We made sure to plan ahead, creating a schedule over six to eight weeks, optimizing the workflow.


By assembling a large, specialized team, we were able to achieve a new level of quality while also giving the HIMMS team the bandwidth to focus on other aspects of event planning.
